The Zera Food Recycler is an upcoming product of WLabs Innovations, a division of Whirlpool. This unit turns food scraps into fertilizer within 24 hours. While this product is still in the prototype phase, they have become an Ally of AIR to put our crew’s food waste to work.
In an effort to be the most innovative with green technologies and analytic data, we have partnered with the most advanced minds in environment and sustainability – UCLA’s Clean Consulting Organization. This is a student team of eco-conscious students actively seeking to make the world a cleaner place.
Bodewell Home is an LA based, women-owned candle company. As mothers, the owners designed a natural, non-toxic, non-GMO coconut wax candle with lead free cotton wicks that are not only safe for your kids, but also for the environment. They also partner with NoKidHungry.org to donate a portion of their proceeds to end childhood hunger.
Long hours on set require caffeine. A lot of caffeine. And while we keep espresso readily available on set, most single use pods are not eco-friendly. We have partnered with Halo who makes 100% compostable Nespresso-compatible espresso pods, allowing our crew to stay caffeinated with a clean conscious.
They say you are what you eat, but more importantly, what you eat on! All dishware, drinkware and utensils on set are not only compostable but made from plants – trees, corn and sugarcane which are all renewable natural materials.
